Since the two techniques of AM and SM are acknowledged to be defective, 3B uses a combination of these techniques to make molds and orthosis. In this way, it removes the defects, increases the quality and accuracy of products and decreases the prices.
Our functional orthotics are manufactured using thermoplastic in 1-4mm control options. This material provides enough rigidity to support the foot, while simultaneously offering the foot the right amount of ﬂexibility to properly absorb ground reaction forces.
The insole is produced on the positive model (different materials are heated and are placed around the positive model) or the orthosis is produced on the negative mold (different types of composites).
We are so confident in the durability of our thermoplastic orthotics, that they are guaranteed for a lifetime against breakage.
After the construction of the main structure (frame) of the orthosis is the step of pad placement and the final preparation of insole, which is done according to the person's disorders, activities and shoes. this step is also completely custom-made.
